About American Baba

American Baba was born in Rishikesh and trained there from childhood in yoga and meditation. The Ganga, the ashrams, and daily practice were the first classroom.

He then spent ten years teaching in the United States, based in New York, and ten years teaching in the United Kingdom, based in London. Between those two cities he met students in offices, studios, and living rooms, and learned how to carry a Himalayan practice into ordinary Western days.

He now teaches from his ashram in Tapovan, Rishikesh, and online. Free yoga and meditation livestreams continue on YouTube. The 30-Day Healing Journey is free for anyone who wants a guided month with daily structure. American Baba is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization, so nothing here carries a fee. Every program is free.
